Tuesday Throwdown #23

Happy Tuesday!  This week at Tuesday Throwdown, our challenge was "sentimentally yours."  I had a bit of a hard time with this challenge because the only sentiment stamps that I have are things like "Happy Birthday" "Happy Holidays" etc.  I don't have any longer phrases.

I'm trying to get as many Christmas cards done as possible, so I made yet another one.  This was a very quick and easy card, as the oval is one big embellishment.

Going to the chapel & the ceremony

What a wonderful weekend! Yesterday I attended the Cricut Circle meet-up in Valley Forge, PA.  It was so great to meet other papercrafters and see their creativity.  We did a flower and ribbon swap as well as swapped 3x3 "calling cards."  While I was there, I was able to purchase the 3 Cuttlebug Quilling kits that I had been dying to get!  They didn't have the larger Cuttlebug plates that you need, so I ordered them from JoAnn.com (on sale) today.  Once they arrive, I will be sure to make some flowers for my projects!

Last night, a few of my girlfriends and I went out to celebrate my birthday!  It was so much fun!

I got some scrapping done this week, but this is the first chance I'm getting to post it.  I'm almost finished my Wedding Ceremony album.  After this, I think I will take a break so that I can work on Christmas gifts, cards, etc.

Tuesday Throwdown #21

Happy Tuesday!  What a wonderful day - three years ago I married my best friend.  Happy Anniversary!

This week at Tuesday Throwdown, our challenge was to have three of something on our projects.  I went a little overboard.  I used three stamped images, three patterned papers, three colors of solid cardstock, and three brads.

All of the items used on this card (except the stamps) came from our sponsor this week, Catherine Pooler, a Stampin' Up Consultant.

OH MY GOD!!!

My husband and I just got back from the shore.  We had a wonderful time celebrating our 3rd anniversary.

I participated in a blog hop last weekend, and each blog was giving away 3 Gypsys.  The winners were to be announced yesterday.  I just went to each blog, hoping to see my name...

AND GUESS WHAT... I WON!!!!!

I am doing the happy dance!  I have been DYING for a Gypsy for ages!  My husband promised to get me one for Christmas this year, but I really didn't want to wait that long!

THANK YOU SO MUCH Shantaie and Provocraft's Cricut Circle Blog!

Here Comes the Bride

Happy 10/10/10!

These layouts are for my father walking me down the aisle.  I absolutely love the pic of my dad and I in front of the stained glass windows.  I also love the pi on Mike's face when he first saw me.

It's All in the Little Details

I've been slacking in my posting lately!  The beginning of the school year is incredibly busy for me (I am an Associate Sales Rep for a yearbook company).  I haven't had much free time, and when I do, it's usually crafting rather than posting to my blog.

I have several layouts done for my wedding album.  I will post them for the next few days leading up to my 3rd anniversary, which is October 12th.  My husband and I will be going to the Jersey shore for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, but I am scheduling the posts now.  Hopefully blogger will cooperate.

This spread showcases all of the little details.  There's pictures of my shoes, purse (my "something old" that used to belong to my late grandmother), the bows (on my dress, shoes, and veil), etc.  This is also my "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" page.

Tuesday Throwdown #20

Happy Tuesday!  I can't believe we're on our 20th challenge already!  This week, our challenge was chipboard.  I have SOOOOO much chipboard!  This was a great excuse to use a bunch of it!  Plus, I needed a baby card for my friend Shel.  Her daughter Avery was born 9/21.
